Dedicated Communicator QBE

I have been involved in the communication field locally since 2003. I started my degree in PR/Journalism but forwent completion favor of actually doing the work from the ground up, so my experience is just that living and doing the work firsthand for almost half of my life. During this time I have learned a lot about myself and my capabilities as an individual as well Comms/PR person and it’s been a fun ride because I have grown so much, I am passionate, able to think on my feet and outside of the box when necessary, I am solution oriented, determined and still very much willing to learn as I grow, I have the capability to break the ice and make people feel comfortable and at ease around me which goes a long way in getting the job of being a communicator done efficiently and effectively. I take ownership when I make a mistake and work on rectifying the situation in the best manner possible. I have also learnt to not take things personally if the situation is not a positive one, I do however believe that it is not what you say but how you say it so for me kindness, respect and manners go a long way bridging the gap when there is misunderstanding. I have also fostered and continue to maintain relationships with members of the local media fraternity.
