Multi-faceted creative specialist with over 15 years in Corporate Communications, Marketing and Public Relations

Maria is all-round creative professional, with a profound love for the Arts. This was birthed from her childhood years, when her parents would gift her with VHS movies of cinematic classics that began awakening her artistic mind. Her professional expertise ranges from Corporate Communications and Public Relations; to Acting, Screenwriting, Directing and Producing. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film with Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent, United Kingdom; a Master's Degree in Feature Film Screenwriting from Royal Holloway, University of London; and most recently, a Professional Certificate in Acting for Camera from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Maria writes, develops and produces film and television content which reflect the unique and vibrant culture of Trinidad and Tobago. Her work includes the web series, "Voice Notes to Her", the episodic television production, “Analeigh”, which was aired on Trinidad and Tobago Television (TTT), along with “Our Year”, an experimental, socially-distanced feature length film created during the pandemic in 2020.
