I'm a Kingston-based artist who specialises in watercolour illustrations influenced by my love for ancient Japanese art forms and her Caribbean background. I create one-of-a-kind illustrations using watercolour and ink techniques, producing works that ultimately pay homage to my childhood experiences and aspirations. I also use my artistic inventiveness to inform myself in other areas like creative consultancy, content creation and event planning.
I studied various forms of visual and performing arts extensively throughout my high school career and, in 2017, successfully earned a certificate in Art & Design at Niagara College in Ontario, Canada. I also have a background in performance arts, having studied Theatre Arts at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, United States.
Though I specialise in watercolour, I also dabbles in acrylic, ink illustrations, wall murals and digital art. My depth of talent extends to lettering art for greeting cards and merchandise designs; as well as illustrations for novels, book covers and educational texts.
In 2021, my art collection is being digitally showcased on Tricera Art’s website - a contemporary art gallery featuring artworks by young artists from over 126 countries.
In 2022, my artwork was featured on the English website for major Japanese television station, Fuji TV.
I believe art can inspire a deeper connection between humans and the world around them.
