Capable, Determined, Reliable.

While I have always been around technology, I chose to study Accounting but as fate would have it, I fell in love with Video Production and pursued that for several years. During this time I rekindled my passion for coding while learning to automate processes at work.

Fast forward a couple of years and I have a 22-week Fullstack and Mobile Development Bootcamp (Javascript) under my belt and I am currently doing Level 2 courses in a Computer Science Degree at the University of the West Indies, Mona. I also have been an intern of sorts having transitioned from my previous role to a Web Developer Intern in the Applications Unit at the U.W.I., Mona. where I have been assisting for 18 months.

I am passionate about Systems Architecture and this curiosity has led me to build projects so that I can learn more about solving business processes with technology in an efficient manner. It helps that I love being a problem solver and it is a bonus seeing my projects benefit their users.

Having trained and led interns for several years, and revisiting being an intern myself, I have had the privilege of refining my understanding of being a team player and playing my part to move a team project forward. I believe this knowledge coupled with my work ethic and my passion for learning more about the art of software engineering will lead to me being a reliable team member who is devoted to playing an effective part.
