Screenwriter with experience in fandom and travel which makes me an excellent world builder

As long as I've known how to write, I've known I want to be a writer. Hi! My name is Amrita and I write scripts. While scripts are my main medium I am versed in many forms of media such as plays, poems, speeches and corporate communications.

My proudest accomplishment is being a runner-up in a Californian film festival in the year 2021 with my original screenplay entitled The Calypso Verse.

Following that I started working as a festival reader with a Canadian Flim Festival. There, I read scripts religiously on a weekly basis and provided feedback. I discussed areas from character development to general script formatting. Here I discovered how much I truly enjoy being in a position to help others with their writing journey. Being a writer myself means that I understand how challenging and lonely the creative process can be. This inspires me to lend a helping hand to others and guide them in their storytelling and provide a nurturing hand in any hiccups that may arise.
