I was born and raised in Trinidad. However, I decided to go to Jamaica to pursue further studies. I am a former medical student. However, due to financial constraints, I was forced to withdraw. Instead of dwelling on this adversity, I have used it as an opportunity to switch career paths as I have always had a passion for languages and writing. This passion has even made me decide to start my own blog while at University. Since then, I have also been given the opportunity to write for other blogs and literary pieces. I am a persistent individual and consider myself to be a bit of a perfectionist. As a result, I pay keen attention to details. though some persons may view this as a weakness of mine (I did too), I now view this as a strength since it constantly allows me the opportunity to improve any work that I do. As a Caribbean citizen and understanding our history, I have grown to appreciate diversity. Additionally, after spending so much of my life in Jamaica, I have grown to appreciate cultural differences and so it is my desire to one day travel the world experiencing as many as possible. In my free time, I enjoy reading self-help books and engaging in other activities that contribute to my development, whether physically, mentally or socially.

I am a Visual Artist and I have obtained a degree in the Visual Arts with Honours from the University of the West Indies. My biggest accomplishment to this day is a novella I have penned which has been a success. I have worked in two of the country's most notable advertising agencies: Corbin Communications and Lonsdale Saatchi and Saatchi. I have been mentored by Trinidad and Tobago's best Artists. I really appreciate artists who have a passion for animation and other art forms. I like the genre of cartoons and comics. I can assist in directing younger artists to websites that reflect their particular style. Finally I am a remarkable illustrator.

I am presently a 45 year old experienced and qualified French teacher and an experienced care taker, for over 20 years. My teaching career started when I was a teenager, specializing in language education. I have since then taught in both public and private institutions , tutored individuals and groups of ages 4-60 years old, male and female alike. I am from the tiny Caribbean island of Dominica, an English speaking country, where I have worked relentlessly, thanks to my strong self motivation and determination, in assisting the young as well as the disabled and the elderly. However, I have a great passion for languages and have learned fluent French, Spanish, French creole and I am presently making a great attempt at continuing my knowledge in the German language. Due to my language background, I have worked as an interpreter, translator, in the hospitality industry and in the media sector among other places. I consider myself to be multi-talented as an athlete, a singer and musician and one who is involved in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming and camping. I have had interest in caring for others so much , that I recently completed an introductory course in psychology and found myself enjoying caring for the elderly. I discovered finally that caring is my gift; wether it’s through the use of languages, teaching or caring physically for someone. In my personal life, I like to maintain my interests in technology and tech-based products, music and automotive repair / modification.
